Job summary

Twin City Fan & Blower Co. seeks a production supervisor to lead a team of operators, ensuring on-time delivery and adherence to standard work. You will drive continuous improvement, coordinate with quality and maintenance, and uphold 5S and safety in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include scheduling, coaching, and performance reviews, with a focus on accurate reporting and strong teamwork to meet department goals.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Familiarity with ISO 9001 quality system requirements.
• 2–5 years of experience leading or supervising others.
• Proven ability to lead and direct work and delegate as needed.
• Ability to read and interpret policies, procedures, and work instructions.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Meticulous record-keeping capability.
• Strong prioritization and organizational skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of employee information.
• Ability to manage multiple responsibilities with minimal supervision.
• High initiative and flexibility in a dynamic environment.
• Proficiency with Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership to a team of operators to meet production department deliverables.
• Drive continuous improvement in the value stream.
• Manage and participate in Gemba and partner with support departments to update standard work.
• Train operators and ensure compliance with standard work and procedures.
• Plan, assign, and direct work; appraise performance and address issues.
• Coordinate with supervisors to maintain production schedules and commitments.
• Collaborate with quality, engineering, and maintenance to resolve problems quickly.
• Take corrective action on deviations and analyze issues affecting the value stream.
• Ensure orders are delivered on time through internal and external collaboration.
• Oversee scheduling, production, and inspection; maintain 5S and a safe work environment.
• Complete daily metric tracking and production reporting; maintain records.
