Job summary

ADM is seeking a Shift Supervisor for its Deerfield, Missouri operation. The role oversees safety, quality and production on a 4-day on/4-day off, 12-hour night shift (7pm–7am), including weekends and holidays.

It supports a non-union plant with about 75 employees and requires leadership experience in food manufacturing. Responsibilities include enforcing GMP/HACCP/FSMA/SQF, driving continuous improvement, scheduling, and employee development while collaborating with maintenance and quality to

Qualifications

• Ability to sit/stand/walk for long periods while performing job duties.
• Ability to work in confined spaces and from heights, bending, kneeling, lifting 50lbs.repeatedly, and able to wear a respirator.
• Ability to analyze information quickly to provide feedback in the manufacturing process and troubleshoot equipment failures.
• Experience in a leadership or supervisory role is required. Experience in food production/manufacturing is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise all production staff on shift.
• Ensure GMP, HACCP, FSMA and SQF compliance.
• Collaborate with maintenance and quality to improve operations.
• Monitor safety, environmental compliance, and training.
• Maintain good relationships and provide feedback to employees.
• Assist with scheduling and daily production records.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure proper cleaning and sanitation of the facility.
• Oversee performance reviews and employee development.
• Work with Quality Manager to meet customer expectations.
