Job summary

Tim’s Cascade Snacks, a Utz subsidiary, is seeking a Third Shift Production & Sanitation Supervisor for our Algona, WA facility. You will oversee the third shift across Processing, Packaging and Sanitation, guiding hourly and temporary staff to meet production, safety and quality goals.

The role requires strong leadership, GMP/HACCP knowledge, and hands-on problem solving. Flexibility to support production demands and safety standards is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in food manufacturing, preferably USDA-regulated.
• Proven experience supervising teams and leading manufacturing or sanitation operations.
• Strong knowledge of GMPs, HACCP, SSOPs and food safety practices.
• Mechanical aptitude with ability to troubleshoot equipment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Experience with production tracking or inventory systems preferred.
• Strong leadership, communication, problem-solving and teamwork.
• Ability to work hands-on in manufacturing; lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Oversee third-shift production operations including Processing, Packaging and Sanitation.
• Execute daily production schedules and communicate issues impacting goals.
• Lead, coach and develop hourly and temporary associates.
• Ensure safety, accountability, productivity, and teamwork.
• Plan and coordinate shift operations to meet standards and optimize resources.
• Monitor efficiency, labor utilization and overall performance.
• Schedule, assign, and adjust labor as needed.
• Maintain sanitation programs and compliance with GMPs/HACCP/SSOPs.
• Collaborate with QA and Maintenance to resolve issues.
