Job summary

Avery Dennison is hiring for a manufacturing quality associate at our Ohio site. You will oversee product inspections, operate and service production machinery, and lead root-cause investigations to prevent defects.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required or 3+ years in manufacturing.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and operate forklift equipment.
• Oversee quality inspection and ensure adherence to specs.
• Develop quality control plans for new products and processes.
• Proficient with computer applications and data interpretation.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and execute quality inspection before shipment.
• Operate and maintain complex machinery, including setup and maintenance.
• Lead root cause investigations and drive cross-functional corrective actions.
• Develop QC plans with engineering/production teams for manufacturability.
• Analyze production data and quality metrics using SPC and related tools.
• Train and mentor staff on inspection techniques and standards.
• Handle hazardous materials safely and in compliance with regulations.
• Identify process improvements to enhance quality, productivity, and safety.
• Communicate with cross-functional teams to address quality concerns.
