Job summary

Mauser in York is seeking Production Operators to support daily plant operations, changeovers and outbound shipments in a fast-paced metals manufacturing environment.

You will operate palletizers, seamers, welders and slitters, maintain safety and quality standards, assist with packaging and changeovers, and work with teammates to meet safety, quality and productivity goals while supporting weekend or evening shifts as needed.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Ability to communicate with peers and supervisors.
• Ability to read and write in English.
• Basic Math skills for measurements and calculations.
• Willing to work evening/night shifts and weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

• Operate manufacturing equipment safely and efficiently.
• Meet production standards on assigned tasks within required time.
• Maintain clean work areas and good housekeeping.
• Follow safety procedures and inspect product quality.
• Assist in changeovers and support packaging activities.
• Cross-train across multiple operations such as presses, palletizers, seamers and/or slitters.
• Collaborate with team members to meet safety, quality and productivity goals.
