Job summary
Torrey Holistics is seeking a Production Line Mechanic to troubleshoot and repair high-speed production line equipment. You will work with Electrical staff to resolve electrical issues on packaging lines, perform preventative maintenance, and support quality and food safety initiatives.
Requires two years of relevant experience or a technical degree, ability to work in hot conditions, and willingness to overtime during night shifts.
Qualifications
- Two years production line mechanic or technician experience preferred.
- Equivalent technical degree or education accepted.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical problems on high-speed production line equipment.
- Collaborate with Electrical staff to diagnose and repair packaging/processing electrical issues.
- Perform routine preventative maintenance safely and on schedule.
- Support food safety, quality, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Request design/fabrication of replacement parts or equipment as needed.
- Lead consultations with internal resources to resolve issues and improve equipment.
- Keep work areas clean and organized.
