Job summary

Illuminate USA is seeking an experienced Production Manager to oversee day-to-day operations at our Pataskala, Ohio facility. You will drive safety, quality, and efficiency while building a high-performing team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

The role focuses on implementing lean and Six Sigma initiatives, coordinating maintenance, and continuously improving processes to meet ambitious production goals and cost targets in a growing solar panel manufacturing operation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, manufacturing, or related field.
• Minimum 8 years in production management; 3–5 years in a senior supervisory role.
• Experience leading large teams and managing complex production schedules.
• Expertise in lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement.
• Strong knowledge of ISO 9001, 6S, and advanced manufacturing technologies.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead production operations to meet monthly and annual goals.
• Drive process compliance with specifications and quality standards.
• Implement 6S, lean manufacturing and quality initiatives.
• Develop a high-performing team through training and mentoring.
• Plan downtime, maintenance, and turnarounds for efficiency.
• Coordinate equipment procurement and spare parts.
• Investigate safety incidents and implement corrective actions.
• Champion cost reduction and efficiency improvements.
