Job summary

Burlington is seeking Production Supervisors for the night shift (typically 5 pm to 3 am) to direct manufacturing activities, ensure safety and quality, and drive production goals. This role emphasizes strong communication, teamwork, and adherence to plant standards across safety, waste, and cost.

The position requires leading night shift operations, with responsibilities including employee training, OJT progress, and daily team coordination to achieve plant objectives.

Qualifications

• 2-year college degree; or equivalent.
• Independent, self-starter with experience leading night shift operations.
• Manufacturing or distribution knowledge/experience required.
• Technical background in textiles preferred but not required.
• Strong professional demeanor; demonstrated decision making and problem-solving skills.
• Demonstrated communication skills and ability to build strong teams.

Responsibilities

• Direct the daily tasks of each operator, service and technician within the department to meet production goals.
• Ensure standard work practices for safety, quality and efficiencies.
• Work with all employees to ensure understanding and ongoing training.
• Train new employees and monitor OJT progress.
• Communicate daily with your team about safety, production goals, and quality issues.
• Foster positive employee relations and two-way communications.
• Collaborate with Burlington management to solve problems and meet plant objectives.
• Maintain a strong presence on the manufacturing floor and engage with employees.
