Job summary

Burlington is seeking a Production Supervisor to direct all manufacturing activities on the night shift, typically 5 pm to 3 am. You will ensure safety, quality, efficiency and employee relations align with plant goals while enforcing policies and procedures on the floor.

Responsibilities include guiding operators and technicians, training new staff, maintaining daily communication on production targets, and upholding a strong safety culture across the team.

Qualifications

• 2-year college degree and/or 2+ years of proven experience leading teams.
• Independent, self-starter with night shift leadership experience.
• Manufacturing or distribution knowledge/experience required.
• Technical background in textiles preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Direct the daily tasks of operators, service and technicians to meet production goals.
• Ensure standard work practices for safety, quality and efficiency.
• Train and develop employees; monitor OJT progress.
• Maintain daily communication with the team on safety and plant objectives.
• Foster positive employee relations and two-way communications.
• Collaborate with management to solve problems and meet plant objectives.
• Maintain a presence on the manufacturing floor and supervise night shift.
