Job summary

Royal Canin, a Mars, Incorporated division, is seeking a Production Shift Coordinator for the Fremont, NE facility. You will provide frontline technical leadership, coordinate night-shift production across multiple processing departments, and serve as the backup when the Shift Manager is away.

Responsibilities include aligning schedules with reliability teams, reviewing work orders in SAP, coordinating material flow, and ensuring safe, compliant operations.

Qualifications

• Experience: 1–3 years in a manufacturing environment or equivalent military experience.
• Schedule: ability to work night shifts (6:00 PM – 6:30 AM) including weekends/holidays/overtime.
• Analytical: proven troubleshooting and root-cause problem-solving capabilities.
• Interpersonal: strong communication and team-building skills with a collaborative attitude.

Responsibilities

• Provide frontline technical leadership, scheduling coordination, and shift direction across multiple processing departments, backup for Shift Manager.
• Step into departmental roles as needed to maintain production flow.
• Review production schedules, coordinate maintenance work requests, and partner with reliability teams to coordinate SAP work orders.
• Prepare purchase orders and update Bills of Materials (BOM) when required.
