Job summary

NOTS Logistics in White, GA is seeking a Nights Shift Supervisor to lead a floor team, directing one shift lead and about 20 hourly associates to keep production moving. You will report to the Department Manager and work on the floor with the crew.

This hands-on role requires staying close to the work, coaching the team, and covering for short-staffed periods while maintaining safety and performance standards.

Qualifications

• 2+ years running a shift, a work center, or a crew - supervisor, lead, or equivalent.
• Experience directing hourly associates in a production, warehouse, or manufacturing support setting.
• Comfortable coaching people directly, including the hard conversations.
• Able to make a call in the moment with incomplete information and stand behind it.
• Reliable on nights and weekends; the rotation is the job, not a phase.
• Forklift or material handling equipment experience preferred.
• High school diploma or GED required; degree or military experience is a plus, not a requirement.

Responsibilities

• Run shift start-up, assign work, and hand off cleanly to the next shift.
• Adjust staffing and flow so the customer's lines don't stop.
• Cover open positions and run equipment when you're short or volume spikes.
• Keep your people trained and cross-trained, and bring new hires up to speed.
• Walk the floor for safety and correct unsafe conditions on the spot.
• Report injuries, near misses, property damage, and product quality issues the same shift.
• Handle attendance, performance, and conduct conversations with your team.
• Roll out process changes and ensure they hold.
• Escalate unresolved issues and set the day shift up for success.
