Job summary

Deschutes Brewery in Bend, Oregon, is seeking a Production Brewer for our Bend facility. The role covers brewing through fermentation, finishing, and preparation for packaging. Prior production brewing experience is preferred, and a strong work ethic is essential.

The position is full-time with a 12-hour shift pattern (3 days per week: 6:00pm–6:00am). Starting wages range with experience, plus a $3 night shift differential and opportunities for wage increases through cross-training and

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Preferred: fermentation science, engineering or related field.
• Prior production brewing experience preferred.
• Must be physically able to lift heavy loads and work in a hot/cold environment.

Responsibilities

• Ensure beer quality by following SOPs and process improvements.
• Operate and maintain brewhouse equipment and associated processes.
• Document data for brewing and packaging steps.
• Coordinate with other departments to meet production goals.
• Pursue continuous improvement and share craft knowledge.
