Job summary

New Pig is seeking a Production Associate I, General Laborer for the Duncansville facility on the 3rd shift (11pm–7am). The role includes performing department operations such as assembly, filling, and packaging, and ensuring output meets quality standards.

You will run quality checks, enter production data into the computer-based system, and participate in process-improvement initiatives. Overtime may be required; a strong safety and teamwork mindset is essential.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to perform math functions.
• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds continuously and up to 50 pounds occasionally.
• Capable of producing all products to standard rate.
• Capable of retrieving and applying all quality information.
• Attention to detail, accuracy, and thoroughness.
• Willing to share input to improve manufacturing processes.
• Familiarity with basic computer use.
• Ability to work overtime when necessary.
• Manufacturing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform department operation procedures that may include assembly, filling and packaging products
• Adhere to and meet quality standards, as well as adjust the process to meet quality standards if necessary
• Perform quality checks and collect quality data as needed
• Enter production quantities and material usage into computer-based system
• Perform all other production-related duties as assigned or directed
• Actively participate on the process improvement team
• Adhere to New Pig's Safety, Environmental, and Quality standards
