Job summary

CAREL in Manheim, PA is seeking a Production Associate II to assemble UE/UR, Bard and MC product lines using wireless drills, pencil drivers, wrenches, screwdrivers, and fasteners. You will read schematics, test and troubleshoot units, and work across mechanics to support multiple areas of production.

Responsibilities include completing work orders, wiring control panels, punching holes, drilling and tapping, maintaining clean work areas, and participating in continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 2–3 years experience in related industries preferred.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions and memos.
• Ability to perform essential manufacturing duties with minimal supervision.
• Ability to perform calculations and interpret charts.

Responsibilities

• Complete production per work order per instructions.
• Interface with computer to log completion and inventory.
• Perform bench-style mechanical and electrical assemblies.
• Work to limit scrap and maintain quality.
• Assemble and wire electrical control panels.
• Attach enclosures, punch holes, drill and tap.
• Wiring and testing per electrical schematics.
• Conduct tests with meters and test lights.
• Maintain a clean and safe workspace; follow safety regulations.
• Participate in continuous improvement activities and cross-training.
• Report defective materials or conditions to supervisor.
• Other duties as assigned.
