Job summary

The Themesoft Inc L10 Product Development Engineer – FA (Night Shift) role is based onsite in Santa Clara, CA, supporting hardware server testing, debugging, and failure analysis in a night-shift lab environment. You will triage server platform failures, perform root-cause analysis, and enable smooth factory and NPI operations for datacenter platforms.

You will develop test automation with Shell/Python and assist with OS/firmware/software validation in bare-metal and virtualized environments

Qualifications

2+ years of hardware server testing and debugging experience.
Strong Linux proficiency with command line, logging, and troubleshooting.
Hands-on experience with server platforms and components (CPUs, GPUs, memory, storage, networking).
Familiarity with factory/NPI diagnostics and log review for triage.
Scripting in Shell and/or Python for test automation.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Perform first-level hardware triage and troubleshooting for server platforms.
Debug server platforms and perform minor rework and retesting.
Review logfiles and make triage decisions with daily status reports.
Support hardware bring-up, diagnostics, and test development.
Develop and maintain test automation and diagnostic scripts.
Install and validate OS, firmware, and software stacks in bare-metal and VM environments.
Collaborate with HW/FW/SW teams to drive yield and reliability improvements.
Contribute to SOPs and documentation for assembly, test, and failure analysis.
