Job summary

Green Bay Packaging in De Pere is seeking a self-motivated machine operator for the 3rd shift, Sunday through Thursday, 9:55 PM to 6:00 AM, with overtime opportunities. You will run and adjust the ink system, mount dies, set up heads, feed stock, and help the crew keep the line running safely and efficiently.

The position requires a high school diploma and a willingness to work all shifts, including nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Previous machine operations experience in manufacturing environment is preferred but not required.
• Candidates must be able to work all shifts including rotating and/or straight night shift. Overtime including weekends will be required.
• Good human relations skills and strong verbal communication skills are required

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor the ink system and adjust flow.
• Mount dies and set up the dies and machine for proper impressions.
• Move stock to the machine and tend pre-feeder.
• Direct and assist crew in running, changing over, starting up and cleaning the machine.
• Keep work area clean and orderly and report irregularities or maintenance needs.
• Perform other tasks as assigned
