Job summary

Graphic Packaging International in Pineville, NC is seeking a Printing Press Operator to lead the press crew, ensuring make-readies and runs meet top quality production standards. You will align with company objectives and customer expectations while supporting continuous improvement.

The role requires setting up/adjusting presses, troubleshooting issues, reading job specs, and maintaining color accuracy. Schedule is a 12-hour shift with overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in a similar Press Operator role required.
• Manufacturing experience preferred.
• Experience operating hand jacks, electric pallet jacks and forklifts preferred.
• Excellent attendance and ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Setup and adjust press.
• Troubleshoot and correct quality/machine problems.
• Review job bag to ensure proper specifications.
• Direct crews to stay on task.
• Control color to proper delta E.
• Use densitometer and perform PM tasks.
• Work with Printing Manager on improvements.
• Ensure color or register corrections meet specifications.
