Job summary

Energy Jobline ZR is seeking a Machine Operator/Printing candidate for a rotating night shift in Mount Vernon, OH. The role requires operating, adjusting, and inspecting printing machinery, reading production orders, and ensuring materials and tooling readiness.

The position includes a 12-hour night shift (7:00 PM–7:00 AM) with training on the night shift for a month. Steel-toe shoes are required, and the work is physically demanding with standing hours.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot basic issues.
• Able to read and follow production orders and safety procedures.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Effective communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to safely climb and descend permanent ladder structures.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate, monitor, and adjust manufacturing machinery to maintain production requirements.
• Perform machine setups, changeovers, and routine adjustments.
• Read, interpret, and verify production orders, line orders, work instructions, and manufacturing documentation.
• Verify materials, tooling, and supplies are available prior to and during production.
• Monitor equipment performance and identify abnormal conditions or issues.
• Conduct quality inspections and adjust processes to meet specifications.
• Troubleshoot routine machine issues and escalate complex concerns as needed.
• Complete production, quality, and downtime documentation accurately.
