Job summary

Propelis Group seeks a Printing Press Operator to run the press and produce printed materials on a variety of substrates. The role supports production schedules and adheres to safety protocols in a fast-paced environment.

The position requires the ability to perform quality checks, operate safely, and collaborate with a press team. Overtime is possible to meet deadlines and maintain production flow.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• No previous Print Operating experience required.
• Basic proficiency in MS Office Suite and Outlook.
• Basic analytical, prioritizing, interpersonal, problem-solving, budgeting, project management and planning skills.
• Basic verbal and written communication skills including analysis and reasoning.
• Ability to work autonomously and in a team in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Produces printed sheets per production order.
• Performs quality checks and maintains required paperwork.
• Directs press assistant to achieve production schedule.
• Operates assigned equipment safely per safety programs.
• Monitors quality points at the work station and records data.
• Reports quality and production concerns to supervisor.
• Cross trains on all work stations within department.
• Performs preventative maintenance on all assigned equipment.
