Job summary

Propelis is seeking a Printing Press Operator in Butler to operate printing presses on a 3rd shift (5:30pm - 4:00am, Mon-Thu). You will produce printed sheets, conduct quality checks and guide a press assistant to meet production schedules.

Role requires basic MS Office skills, teamwork and strong attention to detail. The position offers overtime and benefits as described by Propelis.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• No previous Print Operating experience required.
• Basic proficiency with MS Office Suite, Outlook and Internet applications.
• Analytical, prioritizing, interpersonal, problem solving and planning skills.
• Good verbal and written communication abilities.
• Ability to work with peers and clients across the organization.
• Ability to work overtime as necessary.

Responsibilities

• Produces printed sheets per production order.
• Performs quality checks and maintains required paperwork.
• Directs press assistant to meet production schedule.
• Operates equipment safely per company and OSHA rules.
• Performs work per approved procedures and work instructions.
• Monitors Quality Points and records data.
• Reports quality and production concerns to supervisor.
• Cross trains on all department stations.
• Conducts preventative maintenance on equipment per schedule.
• Performs additional duties as assigned.
