Job summary

Amcor is seeking a Machine Operator for the Printing Department on the overnight/2nd shift to support production, inspection and packaging of plastic products. Safety mindset, quality focus and perfect attendance are required.

Starting pay is $18.00/hour plus $1.50/hour shift differential, with overtime. The role requires standing up to 8 hours, operating equipment safely, and adhering to GMP and HACCP standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent work experience.
• Ability to stand/walk for 8 hours.
• Ability to read, write and record production measurements.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask.
• Ability to operate equipment safely and efficiently.
• Ability to lift up to 35 lbs.
• Knowledge of GMP and HACCP practices.

Responsibilities

• Operate printing department equipment safely and efficiently.
• Inspect and package plastic products of good quality.
• Complete required paperwork accurately.
• Read through process manuals and record measurements.
• Maintain continuous production runs and machine efficiency.
• Maintain clean work area and proper scrap placement.
• Follow all safety, GMP and HACCP procedures.
