Job summary

Vomela in Englewood, CO is seeking a Press Operator for onsite 3rd shift (Mon-Fri, 10:00pm–6:30am). You will set up and operate printing presses, review tickets, and ensure color accuracy and quality.

Responsibilities include routine maintenance, ink mixing, inspecting prints, logging production data, and collaborating with the team to meet deadlines and customer expectations. A high school diploma and prior print/press experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Preferred printing or press operation experience.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety and quality.
• Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in a team environment and communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate printing presses based on job requirements.
• Review job tickets and specs to ensure correct materials, ink, and settings.
• Monitor press during production to maintain color consistency and print quality.
• Perform routine press maintenance and troubleshoot mechanical issues.
• Mix and manage ink colors to match client specifications.
• Inspect printed materials for defects and ensure quality standards.
• Record production data and maintain logs.
• Follow safety guidelines and keep a clean, organized work area.
• Collaborate with production team to meet deadlines and customer expectations.
• Other duties as assigned.
