Job summary

Sealed Air Corporation in Streetsboro, OH is seeking a Night Shift Press Operator to safely run flexographic presses and produce material that meets quality standards. You will set up, load, and adjust presses, mix inks, and perform quality checks to ensure smooth transfer to the next manufacturing stage.

Responsibilities include following safety rules, aiding maintenance and process technicians, and coordinating with the shift team to meet production schedules.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or GED equivalency.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
• Ability to pass training to become qualified on production lines.
• Good communication skills, both in person and via email.
• Excellent troubleshooting and decision-making regarding safety and quality.
• Ability to complete production documentation on computer and paper.
• Excellent teamwork and ability to take direction.

Responsibilities

• Correctly build up production orders and doctor blade assemblies.
• Change and match inks for production.
• Load and unload material from presses using defined equipment.
• Install/remove press cylinders, sleeves and anilox rolls as required.
• Set up and print formulations for bags product line.
• Perform quality checks to ensure readiness for next stage.
• Follow all safety rules and procedures.
• Assist maintenance and process technician in troubleshooting.
• Coordinate with shift TPL to meet schedule.
• Provide turnover to the oncoming shift.
