ESS Metron in Denver, CO is seeking a Night Shift Press Brake Operator to bend sheet metal to part specs using Amada and Mitsubishi brake machines. You will read prints, set tooling, manage bend programs, and collaborate with QC for first article inspections while maintaining safety and production records in a fast-paced, on-site manufacturing environment.

The role requires 3–4 years of experience with press brakes, strong math skills, and meticulous attention to tolerances.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical school certificate preferred.
• 3–4 years of experience operating Amada press brakes or similar equipment.
• Strong shop math skills and ability to read prints and tolerances.
• Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities for real-time adjustments.

Responsibilities

• Champion a Safety-First culture and promote safe practices.
• Read and interpret prints, diagrams, and work orders for precise bends.
• Use machine systems to retrieve, load, and manage bend programs.
• Select tooling and perform routine maintenance per the operation manual.
• Collaborate with QC Inspectors for First Article Inspections and corrections.
• Complete fabrication records and production documentation accurately.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and tooling for safety and efficiency.
