Job summary

Arthrex in Pendleton, SC seeks a Suture Assembly Operator I for the night shift to assemble and test medical products in a cleanroom setting. The role includes packing, labeling, and ensuring documentation accuracy as part of a high-precision manufacturing line.

You will operate specialized equipment, perform quality checks, and contribute to safe, compliant production practices in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Manufacturing experience related to technical and mechanical aspects is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support current processes related to existing suture assembly.
• Operate suture attaching process to crimp needles to nitonol wire and braided suture, wire cutting machine, arbor press machine to assemble sub-assembly work orders.
• Perform dimensional checks on the product where necessary.
• Package suture in support cards using winding techniques; pouch loading, sealing, labeling.
• Complete batch records with required information from the processes.
• Escalate assembly issues to Production Coordinator.
• Storage, control, and identification of tooling and fixtures.
• Perform terminal cleaning and daily housekeeping.
