Job summary

Sunrise Medical Laboratories, Inc. in Hicksville, NY seeks a Night Shift Laboratory Technician to join our healthcare team. You will help advance patient care by ensuring specimens are correctly processed, routed, and stored, while maintaining strict safety and quality standards and PHI confidentiality.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Strong reading, writing, and analytical skills.
• Able to operate general laboratory equipment such as centrifuges and computers.

Responsibilities

• Perform a vital part of the patient care process by ensuring specimens are properly processed, prepared, routed, and stored.
• Recognize when corrective action is needed and implement effective solutions.
• Work in a laboratory environment with biological hazards and PPE requirements.
• Champion safety, compliance, and quality control.
