Qualifications

• Must have a High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Must hold a relevant license or be a graduate of trade school.
• Graduate of trade school preferred or considered for related certifications.

Responsibilities

• Controls, starts, and shuts down primary and auxiliary power plant equipment—boilers, turbines, generators, pumps, and compressors—using control boards and sequential switches.
• Monitors meters, gauges, and computer systems to regulate power flow, water levels, and detect potential issues.
• Performs preventative maintenance and minor repairs to prevent system failure or deterioration.
• Documents plant operations with logs, forms, malfunction reports, and outage communications.
• Leads team operations by assigning daily work, scheduling shifts, and training members on equipment monitoring and maintenance.
• Serves as SME on cross-functional teams and assists with special projects.

Education
