Job summary

Swisher is seeking an Automated Pouching Machine Utility for the 3rd shift in Jacksonville, FL. This role assists machine operators, performs basic maintenance, and ensures clean, safe work areas while supporting efficient production.

Responsibilities include monitoring quality, recording activity, coordinating with maintenance, and following safety protocols. A high school diploma and 0–1 year of experience are expected; lift equipment operation is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 0-1 year of manufacturing or production experience preferred.
• Ability to perform basic mechanical tasks and maintenance.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions and correspondence.

Responsibilities

• Support machine operators during setup, operation, and changeovers.
• Perform basic preventative maintenance on pouching machines.
• Monitor production to ensure quality standards and document discrepancies.
• Maintain production activity records using manufacturing software/hardware.
• Adhere to health and safety regulations and keep the area clean.
• Collaborate with operators, maintenance staff and team members for smooth production.
