Job summary

Covenant Health is seeking a qualified Polysomnographer, Registered, to join the Sleep Disorder Center on a full-time night shift. Responsibilities include performing polysomnography studies, training staff, and independently scoring recordings. Must be BRPT-certified and CPR-certified, with experience in sleep medicine.

Role requires interaction with diverse patients and collaboration with physicians and sleep teams. Prior experience with sleep systems and montages is preferred.

Qualifications

• BRPT credentials required.
• Broad understanding of sleep medicine.
• Experience with polysomnography scoring recommended (2+ years).

Responsibilities

• Perform polysomnography testing for patients.
• Train staff in polysomnography procedures.
• Score polysomnography recordings and adjust montages as directed by physician.
• Document recordings and maintain charts.
• Interact with patients of varying ages and conditions.
• Collaborate with physicians and participate in sleep conferences.
• Maintain knowledge of CPAP/BiPAP and oxygen administration.
• Assist with quality assurance and continuing education.
