Job summary

Qualifications

• High school graduate or GED.
• Associate degree in sleep technology or equivalent.
• BRPT certification with RPSGT or CPSGT credential.
• Current BLS certification or to be completed within three months.
• EEG/EKG/epilepsy monitoring experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set up and maintain sleep lab equipment with accurate calibration.
• Review medical records and educate patients on procedures.
• Apply electrodes and monitor patient during sleep and nap studies.
• Score sleep/wake stages using standard guidelines.
• Document observations and data for PSG interpretation.
• Follow safety procedures and emergency interventions as needed.
• Ensure data integrity and artifact-free signal collection.
