Job summary

MAC Incorporated is seeking an Industrial Controls Technician in Osceola, IA. The role troubleshoots, programs, and improves electrical and automated control systems in a food manufacturing facility, supporting maintenance and reliability initiatives.

The position requires experience with Allen-Bradley PLCs, Wonderware, VFDs, and industrial networks, plus strong electrical/mechanical troubleshooting skills. Shift is 3223 Schedule 5:30 PM-6:00 AM, Sun-Thu, with overtime as needed.

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of industrial electronics training plus 2 years of industrial controls experience or 4 years in industrial controls.
Experience programming and troubleshooting Allen-Bradley PLCs.
Experience with Wonderware, VFDs, Windows-based systems, and industrial networks.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot, repair, and improve electrical and industrial control systems.
Program and troubleshoot Allen-Bradley PLCs, Wonderware, VFDs, and networks.
Support maintenance, preventive/predictive activities, and equipment reliability.
Design electrical equipment for new installations and upgrades.
Maintain documentation: schematics, PLC/MMI backups, and related records.
Lead equipment modifications and automation improvements.
Complete work orders and respond to breakdowns.
Provide training and technical direction to maintenance staff.
Coordinate with shifts for repairs and safety initiatives.
