Job summary

Atkore International in Dallas, TX is seeking a Night Shift Extrusion Machine Operator to operate and monitor extrusion equipment for plastic pipes. You will read the production schedule, adjust controls, and record hourly readings to ensure products meet specifications.

The role requires extrusion experience in a plastics manufacturing environment, a High School Diploma or equivalent, and readiness for a 12-hour night shift.

Qualifications

• Extrusion experience in plastics manufacturing is required.
• Must be able to work 12-hour shifts.
• Able to read production schedules and verify specifications.
• Comfortable measuring dimensions with standard tools.

Responsibilities

• Read the production schedule and ensure it is followed.
• Adjust controls to meet measurements; record hourly readings.
• Inspect and package finished pipe into crates.
• Troubleshoot the strapping machine.
• Familiarize with product and materials; perform changeovers and start-ups.
