Job summary

Sealed Air is seeking a Manufacturing Helper to assist Operators in the safe operation of plastic extrusion equipment and to help produce quality products. The role emphasizes safety, teamwork, and hands-on problem solving on the night shift.

Pay is $19.00 per hour. Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent and a minimum of one year of factory-related experience. Overtime and weekend work are expected as part of the schedule.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of factory-related experience.
• Strong mechanical aptitude.
• Awareness towards safety.
• Able to work effectively and efficiently as part of a team and independently.
• Able to work overtime and on weekends.

Responsibilities

• Knows and adheres to all safety rules and procedures.
• Follow direction of the Operator once production schedule is obtained.
• Inspect work in process for conformance to quality standards advising Operator of any deficiencies.
• Make sure scrap is weighed and recorded daily.
• Bag bundles and stack.
• Take reclaim and neatly stack in repro area.
• Stack blanks in proper storage area.
• Move finished product to designated areas.
• Comply with Company standards with regard to housekeeping and 6S on machines and surrounding areas.
• Ability to help troubleshoot when problems arise.
• Perform duties of other team members as required during breaks and absences.
• Other duties as assigned
