Job summary

Whitsons Culinary Group is seeking a Sanitation Team Member for the Berkeley Culinary Center to ensure plant sanitation and OSHA compliance. The role involves cleaning equipment, floors, and surfaces, and supporting production while maintaining audit readiness.

Evening shift 9pm-5am, weekly schedule. A high school diploma and English proficiency are required; training is provided. This position may involve standing for long periods and lifting up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Must complete all Whitsons and government required training as necessary.
• Must be able to speak, read and write English.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize equipment, tanks, walls, floors, and other areas to keep the plant audit-ready.
• Assist production staff with cleaning major projects.
• Maintain exterior cleaning of machinery and keep grounds clean year-round.
• Follow sanitation schedules and resolve sanitation issues with the supervisor.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA and safety regulations.
