Job summary

Martin Marietta is seeking a Night Shift Plant Operator for surface operations at an underground mine in Randolph, Missouri. Responsibilities include plant clean-up, monitoring processes, and providing back-up for Plant Operator I in a fully automated rock crushing plant.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent and 1+ years of related experience.
• Valid US driver’s license required; heavy equipment operations or military experience preferred.
• MS Office and other computer skills are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate skid steer to facilitate plant clean-up.
• Train and provide back-up for Plant Operator I.
• Inspect equipment for signs of wear.
• Monitor processes, materials and surroundings.
• Tend to conveyors and move materials through production processes.
• Perform basic maintenance on heavy equipment.
• Operate haul truck to assist with plant operations.
• Maintain a clean work environment and wear PPE.
