Job summary

Sirius Staffing seeks Plant Operators / Loaders to support night-shift operations at a manufacturing facility in Danville, IL. This hands-on role involves loading and unloading liquid products, operating pumps and valves, monitoring plant processes, and coordinating with truck drivers.

Schedule is Monday–Friday, 5:00 PM–1:00 AM with an 18-month contract and potential for extension or permanent employment based on business needs and performance. Onsite training and safety procedures apply.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least 1 year hands-on manufacturing/plant/industrial experience.
• Familiarity with pumps, hoses, valves, tanks or similar equipment.
• Valid driver's license and ability to operate small vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload finished products and raw materials between tankers and storage tanks.
• Connect/disconnect trucks to pumps and transfer equipment.
• Operate and monitor pumps, valves, hoses, tanks, and plant equipment.
• Monitor processes and automate systems for safe operations.
• Prepare and process paperwork for shipments and loads.
• Communicate shipment or operational information to drivers as needed.
