Job summary

MercyOne Des Moines Medical Center is seeking a Night Shift RN with at least one year of pediatric unit experience to provide high-quality nursing care in our PICU and Pediatric Unit. The role requires Iowa RN licensure and BLS within six weeks of hire, with mandatory reporter training within three months.

Qualifications

• One year RN experience required.
• Candidate must have Iowa RN licensure.

Responsibilities

• Provides individualized nursing care to patients of all ages in PICU and Pediatric Unit.
• Delivers care using the Nurse Practice Act and MercyOne policies with a team approach to coordination.
• Assists with patient care tasks and ensures equipment safety and proper operation.
• Rotates shifts, weekends and holidays as scheduled.
