Job summary

Broadridge in Newark, NJ is seeking a Physical Security Console Operator to monitor CCTV, access control, security records, and badge issuance. This on-site role operates 10:30pm–6:30am, Tuesday through Saturday, with potential overtime and 100% site assignment.

You will perform roving patrols, report security events, and support the Security Management Team while ensuring asset and personnel protection. Requires a High School diploma; strong communication; PC skills; CPR preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Clear and concise communication with security/facility personnel
• Vigilant and report security issues or incidents
• Filing and phone courtesy knowledge
• Basic PC skills including typing and MS Office; CPR certification preferred

Responsibilities

• Overseeing the physical security of the site and protection of assets and personnel
• Supervising and controlling personnel access into the facility
• Monitoring and reporting event alarms and badge issues; maintaining logs
• Responding to and evaluating alarms at the console monitoring station
• Conducting roving patrol inspections and reporting issues to security management
• Informing Security Management Team of all security matters and performing related duties
• Must be able to work 10:30 PM – 6:30 AM, Tue–Sat, with possible overtime; shift changes may occur
• Must be able to travel and perform other duties as assigned by management
