Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to work in an inpatient hospital setting in Southfield, MI. The role involves venipuncture and capillary collections across all ages, specimen preparation, and accurate data entry.

You will interact directly with patients, perform billing-related tasks, and support travel to additional sites as needed. The position requires a high school diploma, 3 months+ phlebotomy experience, and may require or prefer phlebotomy certification.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 3 months or more experience as a phlebotomist required.
• Phlebotomy certification from an accredited agency preferred or required in lieu of experience.
• Strong communication and customer service skills a must.

Responsabilités

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information accurately and timely.
• Process billing information and collect payments when required.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
