Qualifications

• Current pharmacist licensure in the State of California.
• BLS certification in Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (C.P.R.) and Code Blue Procedure.
• Ability to teach and serve as preceptor for training programs.

Responsibilities

• Assist in providing overnight order verification.
• Medication distribution and sterile product preparation.
• Evaluate medication regimens to meet the needs of patients.

Skills

Patient-centered communication skills

Ability to comprehend patient medical management plans

Comprehensive knowledge of medical terminology

Ability to prepare drugs needed for immediate administration

Knowledge of laws, regulations and standards relative to pharmacy practice

Education

Graduate of an accredited School of Pharmacy. Prefer PharmD

Completion of a PGY1 and/or PGY2 residency or equivalent
