Job summary

Kaiser Permanente is seeking a registered nurse to lead the health care team at the Anaheim Medical Center in a per diem, night-shift role. You will deliver professional nursing care using the nursing process, align with standards of care, and uphold organizational Vision, Mission and Plan.

You will apply patient-centered care, ensure safety, and coordinate with the care team to optimize outcomes while adhering to policies, procedures and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• 1-year recent (within the last 3 years) full-time equivalent experience in acute care Pediatrics or successful completion of a KP acute care Pediatric training program or approved equivalent within prior 12 months.
• Registered Nurse License (California)
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support
• Pediatric Chemotherapy & Biotherapy Provider Certification
• Basic Life Support

Responsibilities

• Leads and directs others in unit operations and patient care activities.
• Understands scope of practice and escalates issues as appropriate.
