Job summary

Qualifications

• Associate or diploma in nursing with 2+ years of experience in ACEN/CCNE/NLN CNEA accredited programs.
• If no BSN/MSN, enrollment in BSN/MSN within 1 year and completion within 5 years.
• Active Ohio RN license; may require licensure in other states.
• Foreign graduates must validate license through TruMerit.

Responsibilities

• Sustain understanding of regulatory requirements and accreditation standards.
• Support leadership in compliance and safety across the department and hospital.
• Ensure certifications and Safety College requirements are fulfilled timely.
• Communicate safety and compliance concerns to leadership team members.
• Collaborate with nurse council and magnet representatives to share best practices.
• Demonstrate clinical judgment in patient care with age-appropriate, culturally inclusive practice.
