Job summary

Maxim Healthcare is hiring a licensed RN to provide pediatric home health care for a patient in their own home in Newland, North Carolina. You will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care, document findings, and coordinate with physicians and family to adjust care as needed.

The position offers night shifts (10p–6a, Mon-Thu), competitive pay, health/dental/vision coverage, a health savings account, life insurance, paid time off and a 401(k) plan with company contributions.

Qualifications

• Currently licensed as an RN in the state where practice will occur.
• Current TB or Chest X-Ray.
• Current BLS card.
• One year prior professional nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• On each assignment, provides skilled nursing care/services in accordance with prescribed orders
• Assess signs and symptoms indicating physiologic and psychosocial changes in the patient’s condition.
• Collects, analyzes, and interprets data and information from health care members and documents actual and/or potential nursing diagnoses.
