Job summary

Qualifications

• Associate degree required; RRT credential preferred.
• ACLS, BLS, PALS, NRP certifications within set timelines.
• RRT/PA state licensure within 1 year of hire.

Responsibilities

• Administer respiratory care and manage care for designated patients.
• Perform ventilator management and respiratory therapies per physician orders.
• Educate patients and staff on respiratory care and device use.
• Performs arterial blood gas studies and related assessments.
• Trains staff and students in respiratory therapy practices.
