Job summary

Children's Wisconsin is seeking a Surgical-Medical Pediatric Critical Care RN for the West 4 unit on a full-time 12-hour night shift, starting fall/winter 2026. The 44-bed unit handles postoperative and medical cases including neuro-surgery, transplants, trauma, and complex pediatric conditions.

Preferred candidates have at least 1 year of pediatric critical care experience; August graduates with hospital patient care experience may be considered.

Qualifications

• Analytical skills to assess complex patient conditions and develop care plans.
• Interpersonal and communication skills to interact with the health team and families.
• Ability to delegate tasks to staff within Wisconsin scope of practice.

Responsibilities

• Provide coordination and management of pediatric patient care with families.
