Job summary

Ardent Health Services is seeking a night-shift, part-time Medical-Surgical 4C Patient Care Technician (PCT) in Amarillo, TX. The role provides entry-level patient care under nursing supervision and supports daily activities such as bathing, dressing, and eating.

Responsibilities include observing patient progress, recording vital signs, and collecting specimens for lab tests, with a focus on compassionate, quality care in a hospital setting.

Qualifications

• High school education required.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Works in an entry-level position providing basic patient care under nursing supervision.
• Assists patients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, eating, and other ADLs.
• Observed patients’ progress to prepare and disseminate reports to Registered nurses.
• Obtain and record patients' vital signs and collect specimens for lab tests.
