Pomerene Hospital in Millersburg, OH is seeking a full-time Float - Patient Care Tech Level 2 or 3 for the 6:00 PM - 6:00 AM night shift. You will draw blood, retrieve lab specimens, perform EKGs, and support nursing staff in a rural hospital setting.

As a PCT, you will provide safe, compassionate patient care, handle clerical duties, and maintain supplies while collaborating with RNs and other departments. The role offers comprehensive benefits and opportunities for professional growth.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• MA/STNA/Phlebotomist preferred.
• BCLS certification required (may be obtained on orientation).

Responsibilities

• Moves throughout the facility and assists in emergencies, providing direct patient care and ADL support.
• Performs clerical/administrative tasks as needed.
• Works within scope of practice under RN direction.
• Cooperates with unit staff, physicians and ancillary departments.
• Adheres to hospital and department policies and procedures.
• Supports PSP/Family involvement in patient care and bedside presence.
• Maintains a comforting environment for patients and families.
