Job summary

Wood County Hospital in Bowling Green, OH is seeking a Patient Care Technician for the Acute Care unit, full-time night shift. The PCT will assist with daily patient care, vital signs, and documentation under licensed staff, contributing to safe, compassionate care.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care including activities of daily living and vital signs.
• Monitor patients and assist with cardiac monitoring under licensed staff.
• Document and communicate care and observations in the clinical system.
• Perform clerical/secretarial tasks and support unit operations.
• Train and support new staff and adapt to unit needs.
• Support safety culture and maintain a clean, organized environment.
• Work hours as per offer letter and may require longer hours.
