Responsibilities

• Transport patients between inpatient rooms, testing areas and procedural areas.
• Operate wheelchairs or stretchers and report completion of transport to nurse.
• Observe patients for adverse changes and notify nurse immediately.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of equipment.
• Follow safety policies for lifting and isolation procedures.
• Participate in disaster drills and support patient satisfaction initiatives.
