Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Some experience providing direct patient care in a hospital or clinical setting is preferred.
• Ability to learn Epic data entry to document patient information.
• Ability to communicate effectively with patients using a microphone and headset.
• Ability to respond quickly to patient behavioral changes.
• Basic Windows operating experience required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain visual observation of patients and surrounding areas at all times.
• Verbally redirect patient using the digital two-way audio device in the room.
• Summon nursing staff immediately if assistance is needed.
• Document patient interactions accurately in Epic.
• Collaborate during hand-offs and report patient safety issues.
• Participate in safety programs and maintain a safe environment.
